City of Jonesboro

Rotary Centennial Park-located within Craighead Forest Park on Rotary Way (4910 South Culberhouse).      In celebration of their 2005 centennial, the Jonesboro Rotary Club, the Jonesboro University Club and the Jonesboro Metro Rotary Club donated time and dollars to create this accessible playground. The fun-for-all result integrates many Landscape Structures Inc play pieces including several ground-level learning panels, Elevated Sand Tables, Custom-molded bucket sings and the premier Sway Fun® Glider, with spots for several kids, along with two wheelchairs.  The playground consultant on the project was Arkoma Playgrounds & Supply LLC.   The playground was The three clubs received the 2006 National Humanitarian Award from the National Recreation and Parks Association for their involvement in this project.  The park not only includes a playground, but it also includes a bankshot basketball court and a splash pad.

Springdale

The Jones Center for Families–922 East Emma Avenue. A Community Park surrounds the Jones Center campus and includes a one mile walking trail, eight fitness stations, nine-hole disc golf course, a universally accessible playground, picnic tables and a basketball and volleyball court.
