Pepsi Refresh Everything raises money and awareness for new Accessible Playground

Pepsi is looking for people, businesses, and non-profits with ideas that will have a positive impact. They want you to look around your community and think about how you want to change it.  The program is called Pepsi Refresh Everything

Each month you can submit an idea from the 1st to the 15th of the month or until 1,000 ideas have been submitted. The following month, the voting starts. It is up to the community to get as many people as possible to vote for their project. At the end of the month, up to $1.3 million will be awarded as follows: 2 Grants at the $250,000 level; 10 Grants at the $50,000 level; 10 Grants at the $25,000 level; and 10 Grants at the $5,000 level.

In May, you can vote for the following Accessible Playground Projects:

Build a handicapped accessible playground in South Wood County, WI–They are asking for $50K for pour-in-place surfacing

Build a magical playground for our school and community–This playground designed by the local children in Pennsylvania is asking for $50K to complete their fundraising of $130,000 for their new playground.

Build playgrounds to include everyone in our community of Brea, CA–They are asking for $250,000 to build An inclusive playground with elements let children of all abilities play & grow together. Specific structures are for kids with developmental &/or sensory disabilities.

Build a fully handicapped accessible playground in Wilmington, OH--They are asking for $250,000 to build a fully equipped accessible playground.
