Students in Okalohoma Put in first phase of a fully handicapped accessible play area

Students at Connors State College and donors from across Muskogee helped give kids a twisty, twirly place to play at Civitan Park.

A new Evos playground set, shaped and colored like a web of rainbows, has been erected at the park, 3301 Gibson St., and could be ready for children by today, said Don Garrison chairman of the Muskogee Civitan Club. It is the first phase of the club’s efforts to raise money and install handicapped accessible play areas at the park.
